Intent is a private, single-user planning service. This page explains what data it accesses, why, and where it is kept.
Google data
- Google Calendar, read access (calendar.readonly). Intent reads events on the calendars the connected Google account can see, to work out when the account holder is free or busy.
- Google Calendar, app-created calendar (calendar.app.created). Intent creates one secondary calendar, “Week Planner”, and creates and manages events only on that calendar. It never modifies any other calendar.
- Google sign-in. Intent receives the email address only, to confirm that the person signing in is the single allowed user.
Todoist data
Intent reads Todoist projects, sections, labels and tasks. It writes only two things back: task completion and a “scheduled” label.
Where data is stored
Data is stored on Cloudflare: a D1 database and Durable Objects, with KV used for sign-in sessions, in the US region. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-GCM.
Use and sharing
Google user data is used only to provide the planner features described above. Intent’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
No data is sold or shared with third parties. There is no advertising and there are no analytics trackers. Google user data is not used for advertising, and it is not used to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept until the user disconnects the service. To have data deleted, email saad.padela@gmail.com. Access can also be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; revoking stops all access to the Google account.
